But the funny thing is that intelligent, cogent people sit there and nod like what's she's saying makes any damn sense at all.

In a clip at the Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans last week, Harris said, “Culture is, it is a reflection of our moment in our time, right? And, and, and present culture is the way we express our feeling about the moment. And, and we should always find times to express how we feel about that moment that is a reflection of joy.”

Guest host Trace Gallagher said, “The vice president has a history of these baffling and indecipherable comments even going back to her time as California attorney general. My question is, you know, it’s not really confidence-building when you hear these types of comments. What are your thoughts on this?”

Kennedy said, “She’s struggling for a couple of reasons. Number one, she doesn’t appear to be prepared. Number two, no matter how well-prepared you are, you have to be able to express yourself. And with respect, I would say the vice president needs to work on being a little more articulate. A cynical might say that based on her performances, that English is not her first, second, third or even fourth language.”

Reduce the Population and More of Us Can Drink Clean Water and Breathe Clean Air

It's why she’s not considered the future of the party or a potential candidate for president. When Tom Steyer’s 2020 campaign lasts longer than yours, that’s a sign. Harris’ inability to perform rudimentary tasks is now a feature of her tenure as vice president; she’s Selena Meyer. Harris reportedly felt irritated that Biden was giving her hot-button issues to handle, like increasing COVID vaccination rates and securing the border, which is weak sauce. These are legitimate issues, and if she had successfully performed her duties when given these tasks by the president, the public might view her differently. But she didn’t. She failed, and her approval rating is in the toilet.

Her latest public speaking flub occurred today at Coppin State College in Baltimore, Maryland. Harris was there to deliver remarks about clean energy, where she said that if we reduce the population—more of us can drink clean water and breathe clean air:

Was there a teleprompter error? Who knows, but the White House website uploaded her remarks and crossed out the word “population” and replaced it with “pollution,” which makes more sense:

When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population [pollution], more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water.

It could very well be that the remarks contained some errors, but her history of speaking at the podium and sticking her foot in her mouth has stripped her of being given the benefit of the doubt.

🔥 She did it again! During a speech on “Combatting Climate Change and Building a Clean Energy Economy,” Vice President Kamala Harris at minimum said what everybody is thinking, or maybe she’s attending too many classified meetings and forgot what not to say. Anyway, during her July 14th speech, Harris said, “When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water. “

Reduce population. There it is!

The fact checkers are saying it never happened. Listen for yourself:

The Helsinki victims listening to her speech clapped like trained seals performing for a fresh kipper. Later, the White House spin machine cleaned up Kamala’s sinister comment by modifying the transcript:

Aha. See. She didn’t really mean it. Whoopsies! That’s not what the teleprompter said. Kamala has just been hanging around with Joe for too long and the gaffes are contagious.

Beyond the population comment, again with the children. These people are obsessed with children. Whenever they talk about any policy, it inevitably winds up having kids involved somehow. And it never makes any logical sense, not if you spend a second thinking about it.

For example, Kamala says more electric cars means more kids can “breathe easier,” whatever that means, and for whatever reason doesn’t include adults breathing easier. But … DO electric cars help kids? Maybe not. Certainly not Congolese kids who are used as disposable slave labor to harvest the minerals to make the electric car batteries:

Please, democrats, just cut it out. We don’t believe for one second that Auntie Kamala and Sniffy Joe have kids’ best interests at heart. Ironically, the same day as Auntie Kamala talked about reducing population — for the kids — Sniffy Joe tried to eat a terrified baby on camera:

Don’t miss the final hair sniff. Whatever Joe has, it’s getting worse.

Kamala Harris's Population Bomb

By Jeffrey Folks

Kamala Harris recently came out with another shocking statement, and one that made it clear just where progressives stand on euthanasia, the right to life, and related issues. On July 14, speaking at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Harris said that "when we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water." The White House labeled Harris' statement a slip of the tongue, hours after Harris showed no indication of its being so. Based on her own lack of awareness, we can infer that she meant what she said.

The obvious question is how to achieve a lower population, if that is one's goal. The left has long supported universal availability of contraception and abortion, including late-term abortion, funded at government or employer expense. Along with that, tax codes penalize married couples. And there is no place for nuclear families in liberal media, even as liberals do everything possible to champion transgenders and gays.

Beyond what might be called elective procedures, there are other possibilities. In the past, progressives supported forced sterilization, which was once legal in 32 states. And euthanasia, even of those who may not be capable of making a rational decision, is another procedure promoted by the left. Currently, right-to-die laws exist in nine states and Washington, D.C. All of these are liberal jurisdictions: California, Colorado, Oregon, Vermont, New Mexico, Maine, New Jersey, Hawaii, and Washington State. Liberals support euthanasia to the point of legalizing it for a wide range of conditions. Most conservatives have reservations.

When Biden was vice president, he and Obama floated a policy of restricted care for senior citizens that would have amounted to euthanasia on a mass scale. Under Obama-Biden, Medicare and Medicaid would have withheld funding for some late-stage diseases, limiting treatment to palliative care only. As Obama's CMS director Donald Berwick told Congress in 2011, "[t]he decision is not whether or not we will ration care ... the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open." The policy of restricting late-stage care to palliative treatment would have "lowered population" in a hurry, as thousands of elderly patients would have died before their time.

It's important to note that Harris linked reduced population to other green "investments." The idea that abortion, euthanasia, and sterilization are "investments" is the product of a perverse and warped way of thinking. I don't believe that forcing Americans to spend tax revenues to murder children or eliminate senior citizens can be considered an "investment," as those on the left seem to do. I consider it criminal behavior.

Scott Jennings, a rare conservative commentator on CNN, wasn’t having it, blasting the VP on “State of the Union” Sunday and saying that she just basically made up her facts:

What is amazing to me [is] that how little Kamala Harris apparently has to do that she can read something on Twitter one day and be on the airplane the next to make something literally out of nothing. This is a completely made-up deal.
I looked at the standards, I even looked at an analysis of the standards, in every instance where the word slavery or slave was used, I even read the statement of the African-American scholars that wrote the standards – not [Florida Gov.] Ron DeSantis, but the scholars.

He went on to say that virtually everything she’s claiming is a complete fabrication:

Everybody involved in this says this is completely a fabricated issue and yet look at how quickly Kamala Harris jumped on it. So, the fact that this is her best moment, a fabricated matter, is pretty ridiculous,

The look on the other contributors’ faces is priceless. Watch:

You’ll note that in the tweet above, Jennings references writer Charles W. Cooke, who wrote a fiery takedown of Kamala on Friday regarding the VP’s claims:

In his analysis, Cooke noted every mention of slavery, slaves, abolitionism, civil rights, and African Americans in the new curriculum, and sails there was “simply no way of perusing this course and concluding that it ‘gaslights’ people or whitewashes slavery.”
“This is a brazen lie. It’s an astonishing lie. It’s an evil lie. It is so untrue — so deliberately and cynically misleading — that, in a sensible political culture, Harris would be obligated to issue an apology,” he added.

He went on to list a point-by-point rebuttal to each and every one of her falsehoods.

‘Yeah, that’s called Bidenomics’

While speaking at a moderated discussion on "reproductive rights" in Iowa on Friday, Harris spoke at length about how women in Iowa will endure economic hardship traveling to other states for a legal abortion post-Roe v. Wade if a court allows a state abortion bill to take effect.

"If she is a single parent, she's going to have to be able to pay for that childcare," Harris said. "She's going to lose time for work. Maybe she has paid family leave. Maybe she doesn't. Maybe she has paid sick leave. Maybe she doesn't. She will have to be able to pay for a plane, train, bus, gas. Most Americans are a $400 unexpected expense away from bankruptcy."

The quote was immediately criticized by conservatives on social media who suggested that any economic hardship for the average American is a result of President Biden’s policies after more than two years in office.

That 'Racist' Line in Florida's Curriculum? A Woke Course Dems Loved Says the Same Thing.

The vice president took a trip to Florida last week to say the state’s new social studies standards "replace history with lies." She slammed the curriculum for including a line stating, "Slaves developed skills which, in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit." But the AP African American Studies course framework designed by the College Board, which many Democrats including Harris defended in the face of scrutiny from DeSantis, includes a similar line.

"In addition to agricultural work, enslaved people learned specialized trades and worked as painters, carpenters, tailors, musicians, and healers in the North and South," the AP course framework reads. "Once free, African Americans used these skills to provide for themselves and others."

Progressives had criticized DeSantis for blocking the AP course from being taught in Florida until changes were made. DeSantis successfully pushed the College Board to remove content about critical race theory and LGBTQ+ topics from the course and make discussions on slavery reparations and Black Lives Matter optional.

The College Board said in June it will not make any further changes demanded by Florida, leaving the course’s future in the state uncertain. Florida already requires that schools teach African-American history.

Harris: ‘Ridiculous’ to have to say slavery had no benefits

In an interview Monday with ABC News’s Linsey Davis, Harris dismissed allegations that her response to these guidelines is “ideological posturing.”

“I think that this is just a matter of whether one chooses to speak fact and truth or not, and its pretty much that simple,” said Harris. “I don’t think this is up to any ideological debate to say that people who were enslaved did not benefit from slavery, period.

“It almost seems ridiculous to have to say what I just said, that enslaved people do not benefit from slavery,” Harris continued. “There are so-called leaders, extremists, who are attempting to require in our nation an unnecessary debate with the intention, I believe, to try and divide us as Americans. Stop. Stop.”

VP Harris mocked for proclaiming 'community banks are in the community' once again: 'Another pearl of wisdom'

"And so for years we have worked to expand investment in community banks because, you see, community banks specialize in providing loans and financial assistance to small business owners, in particular those in overlooked and underserved communities, including rural communities. And as the name suggests, community banks are in the community," the vice president proclaimed.

CRC advisor Bryan Doherty sarcastically tweeted a GIF from the surreal humor series "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" as if to say Harris had expanded his mind with insightful wisdom.

"But do they also offer services as it relates to banking?" Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s deputy spokesman Chad Gilmartin inquired.

Townhall columnist Derek Hunter appeared to reference a famous Homer quote from The Simpsons when he wrote, "She’s sooooo sMrT!"

"She actually said this," conservative communications specialist Steve Guest tweeted.

"Another pearl of wisdom from our fearless VP," the Michigan GOP wrote next to a disheartened emoji.
